Student Achievements

When the College of Elite Golf opened its doors in 2006, only one of our enrolled students was a member of the South Australian State Team. By the end of 2007, five College students were representing South Australia. This year in 2010, eight golfers who are current students or have been in our Elite Golf Program, now represent South Australia. Another of our recent students has gone on to represent Australia in selected national events. Some more of our student achievements are listed below. An important yardstick from this list is that several of our students were first time winners:

  • Pre-Qualifying - Australian Men’s Open
  • Winner - South Australian Amateur Championship [Women]
  • Invitations - Australian Women’s Open
  • Invitations - New Zealand Women’s Open
  • Winners - Dunes Medal [Women] Australian National Ranking event and part of Karrie Webb Series
  • Winner - Tasmanian Stroke Play Championship [Women] Australian National Ranking event and part of Karrie Webb Series
  • Winners - Australian Foursomes Stroke Play Championship [Women] Graduate and Current Student of our College
  • Winners - Ross Herbert National Teams Trophy - Three members of the four person team were graduates from our College
  • Winner - South Australian Stroke Play Championship [Women]
  • Winners - Glenelg Club Championship, Flagstaff Hill Club Championship, Links Lady Bay Club Championship
  • Winners - Multiple Vardon Events
  • Winner South Australian Amateur Championship [Men]
  • Winner South Australian Stroke Play Championship [Men]
  • Winner [Twice] South Australian Amateur Championship [Women]
  • Winner [Twice] South Australian Stroke Play Championship [Women]
